30 second animation

on Tue, 04/03/2012 - 19:54

Last Flash assignment!

Here is what you need to do to get an A on it.

You may partner up with one other person for this project.

You must create a storyboard that is done in a "comic" style. Sketch out your scenes and give a brief script about what action is occuring.

One person cannot do all of the work. Make sure you get your storyboard checked off before you start to render artwork. Artwork may be rendered in Illustrator and later be imported into flash for the animation process.

Each person should be creating assets for the animation.

Your cartoon must follow a logical progression

It's all due on 1/20 (FRIDAY!)

Have fun!

Research Paper and Presentation

Your task is to research on the Internet and find a website that has digital art or artworks that looks like it may have been done incorporating the computer. Or you may go through any of my graphic design books and choose a work of art to write about.

Select one image to write about. In a one FULL PAGE (12pt. font 1.5 spaceing) report, describe the image, tell us what the image is about, what makes it strong (elements and principles of design), and how it looks like the computer may have been used and any information you find about the artist’s working

I know last week was tough... But I appreciate all the hard work you put in trying to get that assignment done. Let's take a few steps back and try something else.

http://www.internaldrive.com/2010/03/12/creating-icons-in-illustrator-us...

This tutorial is about making icons.

Icons are very simple and are meant to describe something in a very basic way. We see icons all the time, when driving a sign with a fork and spoon denote food. A little man figure or woman figure lets us choose which bathroom to enter. A little bed says there is somewhere to sleep up ahead.

When you have finished
